From September 15 to October 15, Peloton proudly celebrated Latin Hispanic Heritage Month (LHHM) under the theme “Juntos Y Unidos” (Together & United)—a message that honored the power of community, culture, and resilience during challenging times.
Led by our Latinx/Hispanics in Tech (LHIT) Employee Resource Group, this year’s programming reflected our ongoing commitment to building a workplace rooted in belonging and purpose. Through a mix of in-person gatherings, platform content, and community impact efforts, we united around what matters most—connection, culture, and action.
Kicking Things Off with Community
We launched the month with a rooftop celebration at Avenida in NYC, bringing together team members for music, food, and shared cultural pride. It was a joyful reminder of how vibrant and connected our community is.
Giving Back with Mixteca
In partnership with Mixteca, a nonprofit supporting immigrant families in New York, we organized a winter jacket donation drive. Our goal: 50 new jackets to help families prepare for colder months. Through an Amazon Wishlist campaign, Peloton team members stepped up—demonstrating the power of collective action and care.
Gloria Estefan x Peloton Music: Voces Eternas
One of the highlights of the month was a powerful collaboration between LHIT and Peloton Music: a live conversation and album listening session with the legendary Gloria Estefan. Joined by Peloton instructor Camila Ramón, Gloria reflected on her new album Raíces and shared stories of heritage, identity, and her decades-long journey as the Queen of Latin Pop. It was an unforgettable evening of music and meaning.
El Clúb Book Talk with Angie Cruz
In another cultural moment, we hosted Dominican-American author Angie Cruz, who joined us to discuss her novel How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water. The hybrid event—both in-person and virtual—invited team members into a deep conversation about identity, migration, and navigating life’s transitions.
Celebrating Through Movement
LHHM came to life on the Peloton platform, too. We introduced new music-driven classes and collections celebrating Latinx and Hispanic culture:
-
Vibras Alternativas – spotlighting alternative Latin sounds
-
Baile Intenso – dance-inspired, high-energy movement
-
Voces Eternas – honoring timeless Latin artists and their stories
Live and on-demand classes gave Members and team members alike the opportunity to move with intention. With the #PeLatinos tag, our global community came together on the Leaderboard—celebrating heritage through sweat and sound.
Together & United—All Year Long
While Latin Hispanic Heritage Month is just 30 days, our commitment to celebrating Latinx and Hispanic voices is ongoing. From ERG programming to community partnerships, cultural conversations, and platform representation, we’re constantly working to create an inclusive environment where everyone can see themselves—and thrive.
