ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton’s Content Department produces world-class fitness and lifestyle experiences year-round to deliver a broad range of highly engaging live and on-demand content to our members. Operating as the Content Creative Studio—the creative center of excellence for the Content team—we ideate, develop, and execute high-impact creative concepts across the entire content ecosystem.

We are seeking a visionary, hands-on Senior Director to serve as a creative lead and strategic concept Director for the Content Creative Studio. In this role, your primary mandate is driving member retention, participation, and loyalty through innovative multiformat content. You will lead the end-to-end creation of original show concepts, member-focused promotional story arcs, multi-format content creation, and event treatments. You will guide and mentor a team of conceptual creatives, turning member insights into meaningful engagement initiatives, community-driven series, and instructor talent growth.

Working in close partnership with Creative Operations & Design leadership, you will focus on pushing creative boundaries, crafting rich mood boards and pitch templates, and translating member touchpoints into compelling narrative arcs that keep our global community inspired, connected, and coming back.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Architect original, repeatable show concepts, series franchises, and interactive content formats designed specifically to deepen member retention, habituation, and community connection
  • Conceptualize multi-phase promotional story arcs and campaign narratives that motivate members, build anticipation around content drops, and celebrate community milestones across the entire member journey
  • Lead strategic creative direction and thematic storytelling for major member-facing moments that includes packaging, class capture, events, and short form content
  • Craft and present rich visual mood boards, aesthetic treatments, and comprehensive pitch decks to effectively articulate ambitious engagement concepts and visual identities to executive leadership, cross-functional partners, and talent
  • Partner closely with Talent Management and Instructors to build personalized content vehicles that deepen the authentic emotional connection between instructors and the member base
  • Ideate cohesive story arcs and content extensions across in-platform experiences, linear touchpoints, and short-form social, to meet members wherever they are in their daily lives
  • Directly manage and mentor a team of conceptual creatives, cultivating an environment of bold, audience-first storytelling, diverse perspectives and continuous innovation
  • Partner seamlessly with Creative Operations, Content Strategy, and Marketing to ensure creative treatments align with broader business goals and execute thoughtfully

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience guiding teams to produce high-impact content
  • A track record of creating hit show formats, multi-part digital series, and narrative-driven campaigns that demonstrably drive user engagement and loyalty
  • Demonstrated ability to craft visual decks, mood boards, style guides, and pitch materials that translate abstract engagement strategies and show concepts into vivid visual vision
  • Proven ability to build multi-phase promotional story arcs and community narratives that build emotional resonance, accessibility, and sustained daily/weekly member participation
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms, in-app UX/content ecosystems, and social environments to design cohesive, multi-touchpoint member experiences
  • Outstanding ability to present creative strategy clearly, inspire senior stakeholders, and build cross-functional alignment across diverse teams
  • Proven track record of working with on-camera talent and creators to extract authentic, relatable stories that resonate directly with a global community
  • A deep appreciation for fitness, pop culture, entertainment, and technology, with an empathetic approach to understanding audience behavior and builds lasting community

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.

Base Salary Range
$245,300—$312,550 USD
