Merchandiser - Apparel & Accessories

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a Merchant to work on the Apparel and Accessories team. This person will work directly with cross-functional teams including Design, Production Sourcing, Planning, Marketing, and Retail to execute product strategies and initiatives that deliver against the company’s brand and business objectives. This person is responsible for supporting the execution of on and offline merchandising strategies for Peloton Accessories + Collaborations including bringing new products to market. The ideal candidate will focus on executing revenue-driving product and merchandising strategies that are driven by a passion for bringing world-class products and experiences to our members.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Partner with Planning to manage top line sales and gross margin including developing and executing promotional strategies to drive sales and gross margin dollars in season as well as future seasons.
  • Partner with design to create balanced product assortments that incorporate proven best sellers and new trends and ensure strategies support financial plans.
  • Manage weekly and monthly selling recaps and develop takeaways and recommendations for the business.
  • Partner with marketing to build out seasonal product strategies.
  • Responsible for all site merchandising of our ecommerce site.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends in fitness gear and D2C merchandising.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant industry.
  • Active apparel experience preferred; accessories a plus.
  • Background in merchandising/product development or retail project management strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with creative and analytical software applications such as Excel, G Suite, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment where the ability to build relationships is critical.
  • Experience working in a high-growth company and experience exercising agility is preferred.
  • Positive outlook, curious, desire to learn and grow, and a team player.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$88,600—$115,200 USD
