Senior Staff Strategic Planning, Quality & Safety
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Staff Quality Strategic Planning & Operations role is for individuals who will use their engineering based technical, analytical and critical thinking skills to drive strategic priorities for Peloton’s quality & safety. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership expertise along with deep analytics, project management and problem solving skills that helps deliver desired outcomes and business results. The role expects the required individual to understand the inner workings of the quality & safety, as well as Peloton’s business strategy.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice and support to the business to help grow and scale of Peloton’s Quality & Safety function, through:
- Supporting business cases with data and insights
- Collaborate to manage budget allocations and spend
- Developing new processes to support growth and scale for Peloton products
- Present findings, recommendations and call to action through succinct presentations to senior executives, using strong written and verbal communication
- Work with cross functional teams and operations to align on metrics and goals
- Drive the preparation of the strategic meetings as of All Hands, Monthly Leads Meeting and Staff Meeting for the SVP.
- Support the SVP, Quality, Safety & PLM on tracking and monitoring action plans and cross functional projects.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Drive end to end program management lifecycle
- Analyze data to discover patterns and identify quantifiable insights to help drive decision making and continuous improvement.
- Present findings, recommendations and call to action through succinct presentations to senior executives, utilizing strong written and oral communication
- Become the primary driver and point of contact for key initiatives across the business and help support teams in effective prioritization of work
- Collaborate internally across multiple teams, negotiate the right tradeoffs, solicit cooperation and resolve problems, and advance new supplier or product offerings.
- Work closely with cross functional data analysts and engineers to understand landscape and formulate analytic insights
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 5+ more years experience leveraging data for quantitative and qualitative analysis and driving cross functional initiatives
- Passion for problem solving and ability to work in extreme ambiguity
- Excellent communicator and able to foster and build a collaborative working relationship
- Extreme proficiency with MS Excel / Google Sheets / MS Office Tools / Google Slides
- Project management skills in order to oversee initial implementation - ability to juggle and prioritize numerous moving pieces
- Self-motivated, action-driven and biased towards results, and has a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, agile and lean environment with an emphasis on practical solutioning
- Previous experience in consulting, mainly operational and/or engineering roles are a plus
Base Salary: $187,300.00 to $243,400.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
